Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role supporting the DIY automotive parts business with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences both in-store and over the phone.Responsibilities include driving sales toward personal and store goals, performing DIY services such as battery installations and wiper installs, maintaining store inventory and operational standards, handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), and safely delivering parts to customers. Skills include basic math, English (Spanish a plus), effective communication, use of POS and parts lookup systems, inventory systems, and diagnostic/testing equipment for DIY services. Requires ability to work a flexible schedule including some days, evenings, and weekends; 2-3 years of prior sales experience in a retail environment is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
- basic driving and navigation ability
- ability to use delivery board system
- experience with inventory processes and store operations
- experience with POS and parts lookup systems
- knowledge of automotive parts and basic automotive systems
- ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
