Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on delivering a high-quality DIY customer experience both in-store and over the phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, providing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), managing inventory and store operations (stocking, cycle counts, back stock, truck put away), and upholding safety and product knowledge standards. Key skills include basic driving/navigation, using delivery and parts lookup systems, operating POS, effective communication, relationship-building with customers and peers, and ability to interpret safety manuals and parts catalogs. Prior 2-3 years retail sales experience recommended; bilingual ability (English, Spanish) advantageous. Physical duties include lifting up to 100 pounds, standing/walking for extended periods, and performing battery/wiper installations as part of DIY services.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math and ability to read safety rules and manuals
- Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends
- English proficiency (Spanish a plus)
- Basic automotive parts knowledge or willingness to learn
