Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role focused on DIY customers, offering battery installation, wiper installs, and other DIY services. Responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience, achieving personal and store sales goals, maintaining inventory and store operations (including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), performing safe parts delivery as needed, and ensuring store cleanliness. Essential skills include basic automotive system knowledge, parts knowledge, use of inventory and POS systems, effective communication, ability to navigate and use delivery systems, and willingness to work a varied schedule including weekends. Prior experience in retail sales (2-3 years) and strong customer-service orientation are highlighted, with bilingual English/Spanish being a plus; fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
