Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role supporting DIY automotive parts and services. Responsibilities include providing excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls, achieving personal and store sales goals, delivering DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining inventory and store standards, and handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.). Essential skills include English (Spanish a plus), strong communication, basic math, ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems, familiarity with inventory systems and equipment, and basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends and 2-3 years of sales experience in retail.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately in all units of measure
