Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson for a DIY automotive parts environment. Responsible for providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls, achieving personal and store sales goals, and delivering DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.). Maintains store product and operational standards and handles inventory processes including truck put-away, cycle counts, and back stock. Also performs general stocking, store cleanliness, and parts delivery as needed. Requires basic automotive system and parts knowledge, ability to use store and inventory systems, and strong customer communication; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Must be able to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends. Physical demands include frequent walking/standing and occasional heavy lifting. Prior experience: 2-3 years in a diverse retail sales role preferred. Safety, driving, and diagnostic equipment familiarity are valued; proficiency with POS and parts lookup systems is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Basic math accuracy in measuring quantities
- Knowledge of store inventory and operations
- Experience with inventory systems and POS/Parts lookup systems
- Excellent customer service skills
