Job Summary
Salesperson providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs. Responsibilities include inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), delivering parts to customers, maintaining store standards, and operating POS and inventory systems. Requires basic automotive knowledge, parts knowledge, and effective communication; English fluency (Spanish a plus); ability to work varied days with occasional evenings/weekends, and to navigate driving and delivery tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of store inventory management and safety procedures
- Battery installation, testing, wiper installations (DIY services)
