Job Summary
Salesperson role focusing on DIY customer service and sales goals with basic automotive knowledge. Responsibilities include providing selling experiences for DIY customers, achieving personal and store sales targets, performing DIY services (e.g., battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining inventory and store standards, and handling general store operations. Requires 2-3 years of retail sales experience, English fluency (Spanish a plus), and ability to work varied days/evenings/weekends. Proficiency with POS and inventory systems, parts lookup, and basic math is expected; prior experience with diagnostic equipment for DIY service is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to work various days/evenings/weekends
- Store inventory knowledge and basic automotive system knowledge
- Battery installation and wiper installation experience (DIY services)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to safely deliver parts to customers
