Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role in a DIY automotive parts environment. Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone, achieve personal and store sales goals, and perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations. Maintain store inventory and operational standards, manage inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), support general store cleanliness and stocking, and deliver parts to customers as needed. Requires basic driving/navigation skills, ability to work assorted shifts including evenings and weekends, effective communication with customers and teammates, and familiarity with inventory and POS/parts-lookup systems. English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus. 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment is described as helpful experience for success.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment (as outlined in the description)
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic math in all units of measure
