Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role supporting the DIY automotive customer base, focusing on delivering an excellent selling experience, achieving personal and store sales goals, and providing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs. Responsibilities include inventory processes, store cleanliness, packaging and delivering parts, and operating POS and parts lookup systems. Requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to source parts from stores and suppliers, and strong communication with customers and team; bilingual (English, Spanish) a plus. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends; physical demands include lifting up to 50-100 pounds and operating in varied store environments. Fleet safety certification preferred and prior 2-3 years of retail sales experience is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Entry level sales position
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- English (Spanish a plus)
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to stock parts and operate inventory systems
