Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson responsible for delivering excellent DIY customer service and achieving personal and store sales goals. Responsibilities include providing DIY services (e.g., battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining inventory and store standards, processing deliveries and stock movements, and assisting customers in selecting parts. Essential skills include strong communication, basic automotive knowledge, ability to navigate inventory and POS systems, ability to work a varied schedule (including days, evenings, weekends), and safety awareness. Prior experience in a diverse retail environment and English proficiency (Spanish a plus) are noted as beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs
- Basic math skills
