Job Summary
Salesperson position supporting DIY automotive customers. Provide excellent selling experience during DIY customer visits and phone calls, achieve personal and store sales goals, and perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs. Manage inventory processes, store cleanliness, and safety, and safely deliver parts to customers as needed. Requires 2-3 years of successful retail sales experience, English communication skills (Spanish a plus), basic math, and ability to work varied days and weekends. Fleet safety certification is preferred. The role involves operating inventory systems and a POS/parts lookup system, handling inventory tasks (cycle counts, back stock, truck put away), and providing strong customer service and teamwork in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately; able to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends
