Job Summary
Salesperson role supporting DIY customers with automotive parts and services. Responsibilities include providing excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls, achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, maintaining inventory and store standards, executing inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, put‐aways), and safely delivering parts to customers as needed. Essential skills include English communication (Spanish a plus), basic math, ability to use inventory and POS systems, parts lookup, and diagnostic/testing equipment for DIY service; 2–3 years of sales experience in retail; ability to work varied shifts including some weekends; emphasis on customer relationship building and safety knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- English language proficiency; Spanish a plus
