Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role in a DIY automotive parts retail environment. Responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone, achieving personal sales goals, assisting the store in meeting sales targets, performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, maintaining inventory and operational standards, and handling inventory processes including truck put-away, cycle counts, and back stock. Secondary duties include store cleanliness, stock replenishment, and safely delivering parts to customers as needed. Essential skills include basic driving/navigation, effective communication, ability to interpret safety and parts documentation, basic math, and flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, and weekends; preferred Spanish language ability.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems (basic)
