Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls, aiming to meet personal and store sales goals while delivering DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installations. Maintain and operate store inventory and related processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.) and ensure store cleanliness and general stocking. Safely deliver parts to customers as needed. Key skills include basic automotive systems knowledge, parts lookup and inventory systems, effective communication, and the ability to work across a range of hours. Prior retail sales experience (2-3 years) and English proficiency (Spanish a plus) are beneficial for success.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish a plus
- Basic math skills and ability to interpret safety rules and operating instructions
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
