Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role supporting the DIY business with responsibility for delivering excellent selling experiences to DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls. Primary duties include achieving personal and store sales goals, providing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, maintaining store product/inventory standards, and handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock). Secondary duties include store cleanliness, general stocking, and safely delivering parts to customers. Required: basic automotive and parts knowledge, English (Spanish is a plus), ability to use inventory, POS, and parts lookup systems, and the capacity to work a variable schedule including evenings/weekends. Prior experience of 2-3 years in a diverse retail environment is beneficial. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
- Ability to understand and use inventory systems
- Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
