Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson position at Advance Auto Parts in Chesapeake, VA with part-time or full-time options. Responsibilities include delivering excellent selling experiences for DIY customers via in-store visits and phone calls, achieving personal and store sales goals, providing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining inventory and store standards, and performing general stocking, cleanliness, and safety duties. Essential skills include English communication, basic math, ability to operate POS and Parts lookup systems, knowledge of automotive parts and systems, and the ability to work variable days, evenings, and weekends. Prior experience in a diverse retail environment is preferred; Spanish language skills are a plus. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of store systems, automotive parts knowledge, and ability to source from multiple channels
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
- English proficiency (Spanish a plus)
