Job Summary
Salesperson role supporting DIY automotive customers with a focus on delivering excellent selling experience and achieving sales goals. Responsibilities include providing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining store inventory and operational standards, managing inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock, truck put away), and delivering parts to customers. Requires basic automotive systems knowledge, ability to use inventory and POS systems, strong customer communication, and flexibility to work varied days and weekends. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Parts and automotive system knowledge skills
- Operating POS and Parts lookup systems
- Sufficient physical ability for stocking and lifting up to 100 pounds
