Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on delivering excellent DIY customer service and achieving sales goals. Responsibilities include providing in-person and phone-based selling experiences, performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations, maintaining inventory and store standards, and safely delivering parts to customers. Requires basic automotive knowledge, ability to source parts from multiple channels, proficiency with inventory and POS systems, and strong communication skills (Spanish a plus). The position supports a range of shifts including evenings and weekends, and emphasizes safety, accuracy in part lookup and inventory processes, and delivering high-quality customer service.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls
- Ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers
- Knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, parts catalogs
- Math proficiency for transactions and parts pricing
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
