Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on delivering excellent DIY customer service, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing duties such as battery installation and testing, wiper installations, and inventory-related tasks. Responsibilities include driving/operating delivery tasks, maintaining store standards, handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), stocking, and safely delivering parts to customers. Required skills include effective communication in English (Spanish a plus), basic automotive knowledge, ability to navigate inventory systems and POS/parts lookup systems, and willingness to work varied days, evenings, and weekends. Prior success in a retail sales environment (2-3 years) and familiarity with store operations, safety procedures, and basic diagnostic equipment for DIY services are emphasized. Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
