Job Summary
Salesperson role in auto-parts retail focused on delivering excellent DIY customer service, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing services such as battery and wiper installations. Responsibilities include inventory control, order fulfillment, safe delivery of parts to customers, and operating store systems (POS, inventory, parts lookup). Requires 2-3 years retail sales experience, basic automotive knowledge, and ability to work varied shifts; Spanish language skills a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Basic automotive system knowledge and parts knowledge
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
- Operate POS and parts lookup systems
- Knowledge of inventory processes (cycle counts, back stock)
- Safety knowledge and skills
