Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on delivering a strong DIY customer experience with in-store and phone-based interactions. Responsibilities include achieving personal and store sales goals, providing DIY services (battery installations, testing, wiper installations, and related tasks), maintaining inventory and operational standards (cycle counts, back stock, truck put away), and delivering parts to customers as needed. Requires basic automotive system/parts knowledge, store-system proficiency, and effective communication to build relationships with customers and teammates; must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends. Strong emphasis on safety, accuracy in inventory and POS/parts lookup systems, and the ability to navigate and use the delivery board system. Proficiency in English (Spanish a plus) and basic math skills are needed, along with a willingness to learn and adapt within a retail automotive environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- basic automotive system knowledge
- basic part knowledge
- ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers
- excellent selling experience for DIY customers
