Job Summary
Salesperson position supporting DIY automotive customers with in-store and phone-based selling, including DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), inventory management, and store operations. Responsibilities include achieving personal and store sales goals, delivering parts to customers, maintaining product and operational standards, and ensuring safety. Requires 2-3 years of retail sales experience, basic automotive knowledge, ability to source parts from multiple channels, English (Spanish a plus), and flexible hours including weekends; fleet safety certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Basic math accuracy
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Experience in inventory processes and store operations
- Ability to safely deliver parts to customers as needed
- Familiarity with POS and parts lookup systems
- Ability to read safety rules and instruction manuals
- 2-3 years of sales experience in a retail environment
