Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries; achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales targets; perform DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs; maintain store product and operational standards and manage inventory processes such as truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock; safely deliver parts to customers as needed. Requires basic automotive system knowledge and parts knowledge, ability to use delivery boards and inventory systems, and strong customer communication. 2-3 years of sales experience in retail preferred; must work various days, evenings, and weekends; English proficiency required with Spanish a plus. The role can be part time or full time, with emphasis on delivering excellent service and meeting sales objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic math and operate POS and parts lookup systems
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
