Job Summary
Salesperson position in automotive retail supporting DIY customers with battery installation, wiper service, and other DIY parts services; requires 2-3 years of sales experience in a retail environment, ability to operate inventory and POS systems, and strong customer service skills. Role can be part-time or full-time, with opportunities across varying shifts; English (Spanish a plus) and basic math are preferred. Responsible for driving sales goals, inventory processes, and delivering parts to customers as needed; includes knowledge of store inventory, safety rules, and basic automotive parts knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to read and interpret safety and parts-related documents
- English communication skills; Spanish a plus
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends
- Store systems, POS, and Parts lookup familiarity
- Basic math skills (unit conversions, pricing)
- Strong customer relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of automotive parts and basic system knowledge
