Job Summary
Salesperson role supporting DIY customers with in-store and phone interactions, including battery installation and testing, wiper installations, and other DIY services. Responsibilities include achieving personal sales goals, maintaining store product and operational standards, and handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock). Requires 2-3 years of successful sales experience in retail and ability to use inventory, POS, and parts lookup systems; strong communication with customers and teammates. Fleet safety certification is preferred, with emphasis on basic automotive knowledge and parts knowledge, plus the ability to work varied days, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- fleet safety certification preferred
- basic driving and navigation ability
- ability to use delivery board system
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 100 pounds
- ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- English proficiency; Spanish a plus
- store systems knowledge (inventory, POS, parts lookup)
- customer service orientation
