Job Summary
Provide outstanding selling experience for DIY customers and over the phone; meet personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales objectives. Perform DIY services such as battery installation and testing, wiper installation, and maintain store product and operational standards. Manage inventory processes including truck put-away, cycle counts, back stock, and handling deliveries to customers. Leverage knowledge of store inventory, automotive systems and parts to assist customers, stock efficiently, and operate inventory and POS systems. Must be able to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends; strong English communication skills (Spanish a plus); 2-3 years of sales experience in retail; fleet safety certification preferred; physical ability to handle typical stocking and delivery duties. Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Basic automotive system knowledge and basic part knowledge
- Proficiency with inventory systems and store equipment
- Operate POS and Parts lookup systems
- Safe handling of tools and parts
