Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role focused on driving DIY automotive parts sales, delivering parts to customers, and maintaining store inventory and service standards. Responsibilities include providing excellent selling experiences for DIY customers via in-person visits and phone calls, achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), inventory control (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), and general store maintenance (cleanliness, stocking). Essential skills include basic math, English (Spanish a plus), ability to operate inventory and POS systems, knowledge of automotive parts and basic systems, and effective communication with customers and team. Ability to work various days/evenings/weekends and lift heavy items is required. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Good communication with customers and teammates
- English fluency; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
- Operate POS and parts lookup systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work varied hours
