Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role focused on delivering a great DIY customer experience both in-store and via phone. Responsibilities include providing excellent selling experience for DIY customers, achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installations, etc.), maintaining inventory and operational standards (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), and general store duties (cleanliness, stocking, safety). Desired skills include basic automotive system knowledge, ability to source parts from multiple channels, strong English communication (Spanish a plus), basic math, comfort with operating POS and parts lookup systems, and the ability to work varying shifts including weekends. Required Qualifications
- Entry level sales position
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends
- Speaks and writes English; Spanish a plus
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately; operate inventory systems and store equipment
- Knowledge of DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs) and parts knowledge
