Job Summary
Salesperson role supporting DIY customers with in-store and phone-sales activities. Primary duties include delivering excellent selling experience, achieving personal and store sales goals, providing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.), maintaining inventory and store standards, and safely delivering parts to customers. Essential skills include strong English communication, basic math, ability to use delivery boards and inventory systems, knowledge of automotive parts and systems, and capacity to work varying days, evenings, and weekends. 2-3 years of sales experience in a diverse retail environment is expected. Compensation ranges from $16.40 to $17.75 per hour, with standard driving and safety requirements. Located in Kingston, NY; part-time or full-time position with equal opportunity employment statement.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
