Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries; achieve personal sales goals and help the store meet overall sales targets; perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations; maintain store product and operational standards; manage inventory processes including truck put-away, cycle counts, back stock, and stocking; ensure store cleanliness and general stocking; assist with delivering parts to customers as needed; require basic driving/navigation, ability to work various days/evenings/weekends, and strong customer communication; 2-3 years of retail sales experience preferred in a diverse environment; English required with Spanish a plus; familiarity with inventory systems, POS and parts lookup systems; basic math and reading comprehension; safety knowledge and knowledge of automotive parts and systems; capable of operating diagnostic/testing equipment for DIY services
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- English (Spanish a plus) communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
