Job Summary
Salesperson role supporting DIY automotive customers with in-store and phone sales, including services such as battery installation and wiper installs, inventory and cycle counts, truck stocking, and delivering parts as needed. Requires 2-3 years of sales experience in a retail environment, proficiency with store systems, basic automotive knowledge, and strong customer service and communication skills. Flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends; English required (Spanish a plus). Fleet safety certification preferred. Primary responsibilities include driving sales goals, maintaining store standards, and providing a positive DIY customer experience, with duties spanning sales, service, and inventory operations.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Knowledge of store systems and parts lookup
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
