Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role supporting DIY automotive customers at Advance Auto Parts. Primary responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone inquiries, achieving personal and store sales goals, delivering DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, and maintaining inventory and store standards (including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock). Additional duties cover store cleanliness, general stocking, and safely delivering parts as needed. Essential skills include basic driving/navigation, effective communication in English (Spanish a plus), ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems, knowledge of automotive parts and systems, and comfort using diagnostic/testing equipment. The role requires flexibility to work various days, evenings, and weekends. Preferred qualifications include fleet safety certification and 2-3 years of prior sales experience in a retail setting.
