Job Summary
Salesperson responsible for delivering excellent selling experiences for DIY customers, meeting personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs). Key duties include maintaining store inventory and operational standards, handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), general stocking and store cleanliness, safely delivering parts to customers, and using delivery boards. Required skills include English proficiency (Spanish a plus), effective communication, ability to work varying shifts including evenings/weekends, and basic math. Preferred background includes fleet safety certification and 2-3 years in retail sales with strong customer-facing abilities and knowledge of automotive parts and store systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- 2-3 years of experience in delivering customer service
- Basic driving ability
- Ability to use inventory and store systems
- Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
