Job Summary
Salesperson for a DIY automotive parts retailer. Responsibilities include delivering excellent selling experiences to customers, achieving sales goals, providing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), managing inventory and back stock, cycle counts, and store cleanliness. Requires knowledge of store systems and basic automotive parts, ability to source parts from stores, hubs, and suppliers, and operate inventory systems and POS. Essential skills include English communication (Spanish a plus), basic math, navigation/driving, and the ability to work varied shifts. Prior 2-3 years of retail sales experience is preferred. Fleet safety certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic math and operate POS and parts lookup systems
- Ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends
- English proficiency (Spanish a plus)
