Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on DIY customer interactions and automotive parts services. Responsibilities include delivering an excellent selling experience for DIY customers, achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services (e.g., battery installation, testing, wiper installations), maintaining store product and inventory standards, and handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock). Requires effective communication, basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with inventory and POS systems, and ability to work varied days/evenings/weekends. Prior sales experience in retail helpful; English required with Spanish a plus. Fleet safety certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- basic automotive system knowledge
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- basic math and numeric literacy
