Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers during in-store visits and phone interactions; strive to achieve personal sales goals and support store sales objectives. Perform DIY services such as battery installation and testing, and wiper installations. Maintain store product and operational standards and manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, and related activities. Employ safety knowledge in daily operations and handle delivery tasks as needed. Required strengths include basic driving/navigation skills, effective communication, and ability to work a variety of shifts; prior 2-3 years of retail sales experience and familiarity with inventory/POS systems. Fluency in English with Spanish a plus; familiarity with reading safety procedures and parts catalogs is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- English language proficiency; Spanish a plus
- Experience with inventory systems and POS/parts lookup systems
- Knowledge of automotive parts and basic automotive systems
