Job Summary
Salesperson position focused on providing excellent DIY customer service, achieving personal sales goals, and helping the store meet its sales objectives. Responsibilities include delivering DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, maintaining store product and operational standards, managing inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), and assisting with general store duties (cleanliness, stocking, and delivering parts to customers). Requires basic automotive knowledge, parts/inventory systems familiarity, and strong communication skills to build relationships with customers and management. Prior retail sales experience (2-3 years) and the ability to work a varied schedule (including some evenings and weekends) are needed. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish being a plus; ability to read safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs; and basic math proficiency. The role may be part-time or full-time.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Operate POS and Parts lookup systems
