Job Summary
Salesperson responsible for providing excellent selling experience for DIY customers, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs). Requires knowledge of store inventory, inventory processes, and ability to source from stores, hubs, PDQ, and external suppliers. Handles inventory control, back stock, and delivery of parts to customers; must be able to operate POS and parts lookup systems, and use diagnostic equipment for DIY service. Preferred fleet safety certification; requires basic driving/navigation skills and strong customer communication; must be able to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends. Knowledge of automotive systems and parts, and ability to interpret safety rules and procedures essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- basic math and reading ability
- English language proficiency (Spanish a plus)
- basic knowledge of store systems and POS
