Job Summary
Salesperson role in an automotive parts retail environment focusing on DIY customers. Primary responsibilities include delivering excellent selling experiences with DIY customers via in-person visits and phone interactions, meeting personal and store sales goals, and providing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs. The role encompasses inventory management duties (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), store cleanliness, general stocking, and safe parts delivery. Essential skills include basic automotive knowledge, inventory systems proficiency, POS/parts lookup proficiency, and effective communication (English; Spanish a plus). The position may be part-time or full-time and requires flexibility to work various days and weekends. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
- Experience using delivery board system
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Experience operating inventory systems and store equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Fleet safety certification (preferred)
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
