Job Summary
Salesperson position in a DIY automotive parts retail setting. Primary responsibilities include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers (in-store and via phone), achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations. Also responsible for inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), store cleanliness, general stocking, and safely delivering parts to customers as needed. Essential duties require basic driving/navigation, effective communication, and ability to use inventory and POS systems; English proficiency required with Spanish a plus. Requires a minimum of 2-3 years sales experience in a diverse retail environment and flexibility to work various days/evenings/weekends. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
