Job Summary
Salesperson in a DIY automotive parts retail environment providing excellent selling experiences for customers in-store and by phone. Responsibilities include achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services (e.g., battery installation, testing, wiper installations), maintaining store product and operational standards, and handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock). Essential skills include basic driving/navigation, ability to use POS and parts lookup systems, strong communication, English proficiency (Spanish a plus), reading and interpreting safety and product manuals, and the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends. The role requires 2-3 years of sales experience in a retail setting and knowledge of parts and automotive systems; safety and basic diagnostic equipment familiarity are also highlighted. The position can be part time or full time and is located at the Denver, NC store with in-person duties.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work a variable schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
- English (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Experience with inventory systems and store equipment
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
