Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone interactions, achieving personal and store sales goals. Perform DIY services including battery installation and wiper installs, maintain inventory and store standards, assist with inventory control (cycle counts, back stock), and safely deliver parts as needed. Skills include strong customer communication, ability to use inventory and POS systems, basic math, English (Spanish a plus), knowledge of automotive systems, and willingness to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends. The role requires physical capability to lift parts, operate diagnostic/testing equipment for DIY service, and maintain professional store operations and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Basic math skills
- Safety knowledge and risk awareness
- Experience with inventory and store systems
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
