Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role supporting the DIY business and achieving sales objectives. Responsibilities include providing excellent selling experiences for DIY customers in-store and by phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), maintaining store product and inventory standards, and handling inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock). Requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive system and part knowledge, ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers, and strong communication; occasional delivery to customers and ability to work varied days/hours. Prior retail sales experience and basic reading of safety manuals are assets.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Basic math skills; read safety rules and manuals
