Job Summary
Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls; achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals; perform DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installations; maintain store product and operational standards; handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock; deliver parts to customers as needed; work flexible days/evenings/weekends; use delivery board, POS, and parts lookup systems; high level knowledge of auto parts and basic automotive systems; 2-3 years of sales experience in retail; English (Spanish a plus); perform safety and inventory duties; ability to read safety rules and manuals; strong customer communication and relationship-building skills; physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- Source knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Operating POS and Parts lookup systems
- Reading and interpreting safety rules and manuals
- Basic math skills
