Job Summary
Salesperson role supporting DIY customers in a retail auto-parts environment. Responsibilities include delivering excellent selling experiences for DIY customers in-store and by phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs, and maintaining inventory and store standards (including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock). Essential skills include effective communication, basic math, ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems, vehicle part knowledge, and familiarity with inventory systems and store equipment. Requires ability to work varied shifts, basic automotive knowledge, and 2-3 years of sales experience in retail; bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Part-time or full-time hours considered. Fleet safety certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
