Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role focused on DIY automotive customers. Drive sales through excellent customer interactions and phone support, perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations, manage inventory and store operations (including truck put-away, cycle counts, back stock), and deliver parts to customers. Requires basic automotive and parts knowledge, ability to source from stores and suppliers, proficiency with inventory and POS systems, and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Fluency in English required; Spanish a plus. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic automotive system knowledge
- Basic part knowledge
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to use basic math accurately
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Prior experience in a retail environment with customer service excellence
