Job Summary
Salesperson role focused on delivering excellent DIY customer service and achieving sales goals through in-store and phone-based interactions. Responsibilities include showcasing DIY services (battery installation, wiper installs, testing), managing inventory and store operations (cycle counts, back stock, truck put away), delivering parts to customers when needed, maintaining store cleanliness, and using inventory and POS systems. Required skills include effective communication, basic math, ability to navigate and use delivery/stock systems, knowledge of automotive parts and systems, and willingness to work varied days/hours. Experience in retail sales (2-3 years) and a customer-focused approach are essential; fleet safety certification is preferred. Bilingual ability (Spanish) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- English required; Spanish a plus
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
