Job Summary
Salesperson role supporting the DIY customer base with knowledge of store systems and basic automotive parts. Responsibilities include driving sales to meet store goals, delivering DIY services (battery installation, wiper installs), maintaining inventory and store standards, handling deliveries and returns, stocking and organizing back stock, and providing excellent customer service. Essential skills include English (Spanish a plus), strong communication, ability to use inventory and POS systems, basic math, and familiarity with automotive parts and diagnostic equipment. Prior retail sales experience (2-3 years) and the ability to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends are expected.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Fleet safety certification preferred
- basic driving ability
- ability to operate POS and Parts lookup systems
- read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
