Job Summary
Entry-level Salesperson role supporting the DIY automotive parts store. Primary duties include providing an excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and over the phone, achieving personal and store sales goals, and performing DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs. Responsibilities also cover inventory management (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock), store cleanliness, and safe delivery of parts to customers. Essential skills include basic automotive knowledge, ability to source parts from stores and external suppliers, proficiency with inventory and POS systems, and effective communication in English (Spanish a plus). The role requires the ability to work a variety of days, evenings, and weekends, and physical capability to handle typical warehouse tasks. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Ability to use delivery board system
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
- Ability to operate inventory systems and store equipment
- Part knowledge of store systems and basic automotive knowledge
- English communication skills; Spanish a plus
