Job Summary
Salesperson role supporting DIY customers with in-store and phone assistance, delivering DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs), inventory and back-stock management, and safe parts delivery. Requires basic automotive parts knowledge, ability to source parts from stores/hubs/external suppliers, and use store systems including POS and parts lookup. Strong communication skills in English (Spanish a plus), ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, and prior retail sales experience. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Basic math and ability to read safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to use a delivery board system
- Friendly communication and customer relationship skills
- Knowledge of inventory systems and store equipment
- Basic automotive system knowledge and parts knowledge
